I work in Risk Consulting and write about how AI can be leveraged by financial institutions for a more secure and equitable outocome.
India has the fastest and best payments network in the world. There are over 60 crore transactions processed every day in the UPI digital network with a value exceeding ₹ 20 trillion per month. Naturally, this also leads to large scale fraud and money laundering in the country. However, with the correct fraud strategy and use of technology, banks and financial institutions can mitigate these risks.
